Wheat Fusarium Head Blight Risk

1 Choose a station with Crop/ Disease license activated. 

2 Click on the Disease model icon on the left side of FieldClimate. 

3 Choose the Disease model for the crop of interest.

4 Choose the time period to display the disease model. 14 to 30 days works best. 

5 Use the  ?  on the far right to provide a description of the models operation. 

6 • Fusarium Head Blight complex favors warm temperatures between 20°C to 30°C and long humid periods 

    • Risky periods occur whenever the infection curve reaches 100% and therefore favorable conditions are possible in         the field 

    • Symptoms on the plants will occur in the near future after 100% infection has occurred, weather dependent 

    • Synchrony of disease risk to crop stage is extremely important
