1 Choose a station with Crop/ Disease license activated. 


2 Click on the Disease model icon on the left side of FieldClimate. 


3 Choose the Disease model for the crop of interest.


4 Choose the time period to display the disease model. 14 to 30 days works best. 


5 Use the  ?  on the far right to provide a description of the models operation. 


• Risk events are calculated when a rain of more than 8 mm is followed by a period of high relative humidity lasting            longer than 20 hours at optimum temperature of 21°C to 26°C. 

    • Sporulation begins after apothecia reaches 100% level 

    • Appressoria infection will start after the spores are released and will settle on the plants 

    • The recommended time for performing chemical plant protection treatments is the period right after the start of             sporulation (100%) 

    • Synchrony of the crop to disease risk in important. Initial symptoms generally develop from R3 to R6 as gray to                 white lesions at the nodes
