Quick Guide PESSL TICKETING SYSTEM


This document will assist you in submitting technical issue tickets for METOS hardware and software that is not working correctly. Technical issues must all be submitted through the Pessl Ticketing System. Submitted tickets will be reviewed by our team and then assigned to the appropriate product manager. 


Step 1

Register for the Pessl Ticketing System here https://metos.freshdesk.com

As a dealer you will need to create an account and provide the Username and Password to your support staff for tracking all tickets in one location.

Step 2

Open your email and click on the link, it will take you to a page to create a password. 

Once you have set your password, you will be logged into the ticketing system and can start using the features.

Step 4

Now that you are logged in you can enter a new ticket; check the status of a submitted ticket; search for topics; and access the FAQs knowledge base area.

Step 5

Before submitting a ticket refer to the “Preventative Maintenance, Testing, and Issue Resolution for IoT Devices” for solutions to many common issues.

To submit a NEW TICKET

• Fill in all required fields.

FieldClimate username the station is linked to along with 

• In Description field you must provide the  

        contact name & phone number of best in-field contact, 

        include a detailed description of the issue (the more detail the better)

Attach a file or photo (photo of data, damaged device or FieldClimate issue) to help explain issue (if available)

Continent is key to quick turn around –SELECT your continent and after this your country if it is available.


Step 6

To search for a topic, enter the topic in the search bar (ie. firmware – see illustration).
