Understanding the data needs of your METOS® devices helps ensure reliable data transfer to FieldClimate and prevents connectivity issues due to insufficient SIM card data plans. This article provides an overview of the approximate data consumption for different METOS® devices based on transmission interval and image upload frequency.

1. Data Usage of Weather Stations

The following table summarizes the typical data volume consumed by various METOS® station models. Values may vary depending on sensor configuration and measurement frequency.

2. Data Usage of Imaging Devices

Important Notes About Data Plans

More frequent sensor measurements and shorter logging intervals increase data consumption.

Insufficient data volume may result in delayed transmissions or complete loss of data reporting.
